People Risks

Your people are your most valuable asset, and protecting them is essential to the success and stability of your business.

People related risks can arise in many forms, from workplace injuries and employee claims through to corporate travel and employee wellbeing.

At Integra Insurance Brokers, we provide tailored insurance solutions to help manage these exposures, including Workers’ Compensation, Journey Insurance, International Health Cover and more, ensuring your people are protected both locally and abroad.

We also offer expert advice on professional and leadership risks, with coverage options such as Management Liability, Directors & Officers Insurance and Medical Malpractice, helping safeguard your business and those responsible for leading it.

Workers Compensation Insurance

Workers’ Compensation Insurance provides cover for employees who are injured or become ill as a result of their work. It can assist with loss of wages, medical expenses and rehabilitation costs, and in some cases, permanent impairment benefits.

In Australia, Workers’ Compensation is a compulsory, state based scheme for employers with staff, and may include full time, part time, casual and contractor staff. Requirements and cover vary between each state and territory.

In Western Australia, premiums are calculated using industry specific rates set by WorkCover WA, they may be adjusted based on claims history and other factors. Workers compensation policies are adjusted at the end of each policy period based on actual remuneration.

At Integra Insurance Brokers, we help ensure your policy is correctly structured, compliant, and aligned to your business needs giving you confidence that both your people and your obligations are protected.

Corporate Travel Insurance

If your employees travel for work, whether interstate, intrastate, or overseas, Corporate Travel Insurance is essential to protect both your people and your business.

This cover helps manage the unexpected costs that can arise when travel doesn’t go as planned. It can include protection for overseas medical expenses, life and disability benefits, lost deposits, rental car excesses, flight cancellations, and lost or stolen baggage.

Some policies may also extend coverage to leisure travel for directors’ and senior management’ spouses and/or dependents who are travelling with them.

We’ll tailor this policy based on your business requirements, ensuring comprehensive protection and peace of mind wherever your team travels.

Journey Insurance

Journey Insurance provides personal accident cover for employees while commuting to and from their usual place of work. It can cover accidental death, permanent disablement, and loss of income resulting from an accident during travel.

This type of insurance helps fill gaps that Workers’ Compensation may not cover, giving employees - and your business - extra protection and peace of mind.

Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance

Group Personal Accident & Sickness typically covers employees, students and members against accidental injury or death. It can provide cover for medical costs, weekly income replacement for temporary disablement and lump-sum payments for permanent disability or death.

Policies can be tailored to suit your needs - covering 24/7, working hours only, or to include travel to and from work. While generally voluntary, this cover can also be offered as a valuable contractual benefit to employees, helping to attract and retain your workforce while retaining peace of mind.

Individual Personal Accident & Sickness cover can be beneficial for sole traders with high-risk jobs and/or active lifestyles as they are unable to cover themselves under a workers compensation insurance policy.

Expatriate Medical Insurance

Also known as International Health Cover, this specialised insurance is designed for employees living and working outside of their home country for extended periods (typically over 90 days). This specialised insurance provides comprehensive coverage for private medical treatment overseas, including inpatient and outpatient care, dental, maternity, and emergency medical evacuations.

Kidnap Ransom & Extortion

For businesses with a global presence, or operating in high risk regions, Kidnap Ransom and Extorsion Insurance is an essential safeguard.

This specialised policy protects individuals and organisations against financial losses and crises arising from kidnapping, hijacking, or extortion. Coverage can include ransom payments, consultant fees for crisis management, and often access to expert security advice to help manage and resolve incidents effectively.
